Minnie's Mission
Minnie Driver is an Emmy-, BAFTA- and Academy Award-nominated
English actress and singer-songwriter. The esteemed actress has
made a prominent name for herself in the wildlife realm through
her passionate work with wildlife preservation advocacy groups
such as Oceana, Surfrider and the World Wildlife Fund, as well as
in a seal-protection PSA for the Humane Society. In 2006, Minnie
took part in the extreme world travel show "Excellent Adventure,"
swimming with humpback whales in the Kingdom of Tonga and
experiencing nature up close and personal. Through her hands-on
participation with environmental groups, Driver has raised
awareness of the importance of everyday wildlife conservation to
our Earth.
Her works in the wildlife community led to a partnership with
Dawn's Everyday Wildlife Champions through which she will
participate in on-site patient care at Northern California's
Marine Mammal Center, and help spread awareness for wildlife
relief efforts nationwide.
Driver currently resides in Los Angeles with her son Henry.
