I can’t find the bottle donation code on my bottle. Where is it? |
|
|
On the Dawn Special Edition bottles, the bottle donation code is printed at the bottom of the backside of the bottle.
On the larger 56 oz. and 90 oz. refill bottles, the bottle donation code is printed on the exterior of the bottle cap.
If you purchased a bottle of Dawn® Direct Foam™, you can find the bottle donation code printed on the backside of the bottle pump.
Please note that the bottle donation code is not the UPC, or Universal Package Code, which is printed next to the striped bar code on the back of your Dawn bottle.

When I submit my bottle donation code, I receive an error message. Why is that? |
|
|
It could be for a number of reasons. First, check your bottle donation code to ensure it was entered correctly—unnecessary spaces and incorrect capitalization are common mistakes.
Secondly, it’s possible that your bottle is not part of the Dawn Saves Wildlife promotion—your bottle donation code may not work if it was printed before the promotion began or after the promotion ended. |

What is the difference between a bottle donation code and the UPC? |
|
|
The bottle donation code, which you enter to redeem your donation, is printed in a special location on your Dawn bottle. The UPC, or Universal Package Code, is found next to the product’s striped bar code and will not activate your donation.

My bottle donation code is scratched and illegible. What should I do? |

We’re sorry to hear that and apologize for the inconvenience.
To receive a new bottle donation code so you can get started on helping wildlife everywhere, please call Dawn Consumer relations at 1-800-725-3296 and press option 6 for info, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (except statutory holidays) and follow the prompts in order to get a new bottle donation code. |

Each dollar donated through Dawn Saves Wildlife goes toward wildlife conservation efforts. What organizations are receiving funds? |
|
|
For each bottle you purchase—and then activate it online using the bottle donation code—one dollar* is donated to our wildlife conservation partners. Fifty percent of each dollar is donated to the International Bird Rescue Research Center (IBRRC) and fifty percent is donated to the Marine Mammal Center (MMC). Both organizations hold longstanding commitments to the preservation and improvement of animals and their natural habitats.
*Up to $500,000. Must activate donation online. |

| In the United States, the Dawn Saves Wildlife program is accepting valid bottle donation code submissions beginning July 1, 2009 through October 1, 2009. |
