 Since 1975, The Marine Mammal Center (TMMC) has rescued and treated more than 14,000 marine mammals such as seals, sea lions, sea otters and even dolphins and porpoises. It is the largest marine mammal facility of its kind authorized by the National Marine Fisheries Service to combine animal rehabilitation with an on-site research lab and educational programming all with the sole purpose of saving marine mammals and inspiring ocean stewardship.
The Center will take part in Dawn’s® Everyday Wildlife Champions™ this summer, with a portion of the program’s proceeds donated to support the Center’s programming including: live patient care, patient release, marine mammal health studies, an adopt-a-seal program, and marine science education programs, which reach over 100,000 children and adults in an effort to spread awareness of the dangers facing wildlife. In addition, Dawn’s® Everyday Wildlife Champions™ will be on-site to support the opening of the Center’s new state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital and educational research facility in Sausalito, CA. For every bottle of Dawn purchased and activated online, a donation will be made to The Marine Mammal Center (TMMC) to help marine mammals and their habitats. The Center has rescued and treated over 14,000 animals since 1975 and is proud to work with Dawn to make a difference.
